Change the World by Living Your Absolute Best Life

What is it that gives you life? I mean that in the most general way possible, because it could be anything in the world, and it looks different for everyone. But would you say that your current lifestyle reflects it? Are you living the life you dreamed of having? If not, are you working towards turning the dream into a reality? Or are you living for someone else? Maybe someone you love dearly or someone you’re the caretaker of?

I believe that finding your purpose and living your life in alignment with your purpose will directly uplift the people around you and change the world for the better.

Let me explain why. No one wants to be told what to do. Even me, who loves to try new things and is always down for an adventure, I hate when anyone tells me what to do — and I know there are people who would agree with me. Even if it’s the right thing for me at the time, even if everyone else can see it except me, even if you know it’s something I’ll have to do sooner or later. We need to come to our answers and find our solutions on our own, because it is part of our journey. When reach a discovery by ourselves, that is how it will stay with us forever — an engrained, lifelong lesson taught to us by life itself.

Where I’m going with this is that instead of telling others (even the ones we love the most) how we believe they can improve themselves, I suggest that we simply lead by example without mentioning how they need to change themselves, or start doing what you’re doing, or do something in a certain way. Because when we do things out of duty or force it can lead to resentment. It can lead to the feeling that a person is doing something just because they owe you. Even if things get done the way you had originally intended, situations can turn hostile and relationships turn tense. In my opinion, acting and doing is the highest form of inspiration.

On the flip side, if you were to channel that same energy into what gives you life instead — what makes you excited to wake up in the morning and conquer each day — that high vibrational energy will seep into your life, your environment and into the lives of the people encounter everyday. Ever since I began living this way, my connections have become deeper, the conversations I have are more meaningful, and I am hopeful that we will make our community stronger.

Giving yourself the time to find your passion and your driving force — finding what only you possess and contribute to the world — is the most rewarding thing you can do for yourself. And finding a way to live your best life while being successful will begin transform your surroundings and you will automatically inspire more people to do the same. And you’d be supporting all the people who are doing the same already. The happiness and fulfillment that flows from living your most authentic life, will directly contribute to making our world a happier place to live. So, choose your best life and don’t feel guilty about it. Choose the life you want. Choose the life that makes your mouth water with excitement, the life that the people you admire are living. Just do it, because nothing in this world will be yours forever, except your own life, so you might as well make it WONDER-FULL!
